Paul Weber is a TOP Casting Director based in Los Angeles and former Head of Casting at MGM Studios for 16 years. He started casting on a TV show back in the 80′s called “21 Jump Street” with Johnny Depp and for many years since has been casting a lot of Films and TV shows. Currently Also working on “The Unexpected” with Paul Giamatti and “The Stupidest Angel”. He also has hired casting directors around the world to find the new “Spartacus” for a TV show that he is the main CD for. His other credits include, “Legally Blondes“, “Stargate” (all of them). He is currently prepping to cast 2 movies, “Burger Kings”, by the director of Basketball Diaries and “Playing with the Enemy” by the Academy award nominated director, Jim Sheridan.
On the big screen, he was a consultant and overlooked the casting on numerous MGM features including the upcoming Peter Jackson film, “The HOBBIT”, blockbuster JAMES BOND franchise, FAME, ZOOKEEPER with Kevin James, HOT TUB TIME MACHINE, RED DAWN with Chris Hemsworth, Joss Whedon’s CABIN IN THE WOODS 3D, and THE MACHINE starring Vin Diesel.
