It has been quite a full year for us at the GCFC and for the Cleveland Film Industry.
Over 18 productions filmed in Northeast Ohio this year, including the Sundance Film Festival Selection Native Son, Helen Hunt’s I See You, Anhedonia, HBO’s Hard Knocks, Netflix’s The Last Summer and All the Bright Places, and more!

This Media Mixer is the largest that we can remember due to the over 200 local professionals who joined us for an evening filled with industry updates on the past year and what we’re looking forward to in 2019.
The focus of 2019 will be raising the Ohio Motion Picture Tax Credit to $100 million.
When the tax incentive is increased, we can accommodate more productions throughout the year
and it will pave the way for the building of new production infrastructure.
